New date of Warsaw Conference — 17th to 20th of May 2021

Dear SIBMAS Member,
On behalf of the Executive Committee and the Polish Theatre Institute Team in Warsaw, I thank you for your patience and understanding at this difficult time.

When we were forced to rearrange the dates of our conference this year from June to November we were keen for members not to miss out on having the opportunity to come together in 2020. But with the deepening crisis, different travel regulations between different parts of the world, with people being furloughed, budgets being cut, the possibility of a second wave of covid-19 in the autumn, a November event began to look problematic. Therefore, after consideration we feel we should once again rearrange the date of our conference, when there will be more confidence in international travel and more normality in our various work places.

I am pleased to announce that we are able to reschedule the Warsaw conference to next spring. The Polish Theatre Institute would like to welcome us from 17th to 20th of May 2021 (provisional dates until fully confirmed). Information about how we shall be proceeding with the administrative, and programming logistics of the rescheduled conference will follow in due course. It is our hope that this conference will have an online digital element to it for people who will still be unable to travel.
All conference registration fees are being refunded in full please contact for further information or help.
In many countries, people are about to start their Summer holidays. Wherever you are and whatever your holiday-lockdown plans are, SIBMAS wishes you a safe and healthy summer.

Yours sincerely

Alan R. Jones
