It is unncessary to add any more to the report of this congress than a few words by way of introduction.
The texts of the several addresses and the concise accounts thereof speak for themselves.
In my opinion this has been a useful congress, in which the participants have co-operated intensively and during which good results have been achieved in a number of fields.
In the series of congresses of the Section we are in this way building up a system of international co-operation, from which emanates an extremely stimulating effect on the work in the individual countries and on the activities of the several institutions. And what is more, this is occurring at a time when an ever-increasing need is being felt for good documentation and for a good supply of information.
