Dr. Katherine Mezur is a freelance dance, theatre, and performance studies scholar, dramaturg, choreographer and director. Her research and publications focus on Japanese dance theatres and Asian transnational performance. She is an associate researcher for the archives of the San Francisco Museum of Performance and Design and the Hijikata Tatsumi Archives of Keio University Art Center, Tokyo.
Mark Fleishman is Professor of Drama at the University of Cape Town, South Africa. He is a director of Magnet Theatre, has created works for the company over the past 27 years and performed nationally and internationally. His publications include articles in journals such as Theatre Research International, Journal for Artistic Research, Contemporary Theatre Review and South African Theatre Journal and chapters in several books.
Mads Thygesen has a Master of Arts in dramaturgy and a PhD in new European drama. He has taught at the Aarhus Theatre and the University of Aarhus in Denmark. From 2010-2015 he was Principal of the School of Playwriting, at Aarhus Theatre. Since 2015 he has been the Principal of the Danish National School of Performing Arts.
