Exhibition: Les Arts Florissants
The French baroque musical ensemble Les Arts Florissants, founded in 1979, plays a major role in the rediscovery of the baroque repertoire. The exhibition at the National Centre for Stage Costume and Design (FR) evokes the incredible inventiveness of Les Arts Florissants, that of an “ever more baroque baroque”, with nearly one hundred and fifty costumes from different productions. It also showcases reproductions of set models and costumes, photographs and film clips.
