Celebrating the 120^th anniversary of the birth of Amélia Rey Colaço

A selection of photographic images seeks to highlight the exceptional character of the figure who directed the Dona Maria II National Theatre during the longest period of its history. In this exhibition, the emphasis is on her status as a woman and artist, who so early knew how to recognize the extraordinary capital of the photographic device to affirm its status.
