Our dear colleague and member of the association, Aurélie Mouton Rezzouk, has just published:

 ‘Exposer le théâtre. De la scène à la vitrine’

This richly illustrated book deals with the exhibition, in museums, of costumes and props from plays after their performances.
Aurélie Mouton Rezzouk draws on her analysis of more than 350 exhibitions, from the late 19th century to the present day, to combine museology, theatre studies and a philosophical approach in an original way. She shows that by playing on the tensions between stage presence and museum presence, exhibitions are an ideal place to test ideas about the stage, with a view to the theatre of the future.
