120 costumes from historic cabarets such as Paradis Latin, Moulin Rouge, Lido, Crazy Horse and Chez Michou, as well as from independent artists who populate the new “indisciplinary” cabarets, illustrate the broad spectrum of creation, from the excellence of the crafts, specialised workshops and haute couture designers, to the ingenious resourcefulness where everything is imagined to make people dream and offer an exceptional evening out of the everyday. It’s a journey where great figures such as Line Renaud, Zizi Jeanmaire, Dalida, Barbara, Jean-Marie Rivière and Michou meet today’s whimsical creatures such as Big Bertha, l’Oiseau Joli, Kiki Béguin, Lola Dragoness Von Flame and Miss Knife, who revisit cabaret with elegance and insolence.
