The exhibition “Molière, le jeu du vrai et du faux” inaugurates the Mansart Gallery – Pigott Gallery on the Richelieu site of the Bibliothèque nationale de France, which has been completely reopened to the public. Scheduled for the four hundredth anniversary of Molière’s birth, it offers a journey through the playwright’s work that highlights its universal significance. The exhibition brings together an exceptional collection of works of art, archives, original editions, costumes, photographs, models of sets and audiovisual documents, mainly from the collections of the BnF and the Comédie-Française.
