Publication: New series of the National Centre of Dance (FR)
“The Inner Dance” is the first volume in the new series “Carnets” of the National Centre of Dance (FR), which focuses on the creative process of dance artists. This first publication zooms in on the personal quest of choreographer and teacher Jerome Andrews (1908-1992), a pioneer in dance education. Between 1968 and 1980 Jerome Andrews lectured on his conception of dance and teaching practice. These lectures, published for the first time, reveal his humility, spirituality, fantasy and desire to release the possibilities of an “inner dance” in everyone.
